Major contract for FH Group: Floodgate system for Tammerkoski rapids
FluidHouse Ltd, the parent company of FH Group, has signed an agreement with Seppo Rantala Engineering for the the delivery of a floodgate system for the Tammerkoski rapids to Tampereen Energiatuotanto Oy, a subsidiary of Tampere Power Utility. The agreement is of considerable monetary value. The three-year Palatsinsilta bridge and dam project involves the renewal of the Tammerkoski dam walls, the replacement of the old needle dam with a new automated dam and the construction of a new light traffic bridge. The hydraulic systems for the floodgates will be supplied by FluidHouse Ltd, the automation systems by FluidHouse subsidiary Prodatec. The contract comprises the turnkey delivery and commissioning of floodgate hydraulics, automation and heating systems as well as bridge lighting, scheduled to take place in 2011 and 2012.
